Self-introduction

My name is Wu Jin. Wu is my family name and Jin is my given name. I am from Xuzhou, Jiangsu Province, P.R. China. I used to be an oculist (eye doctor), and about 9 year ago I became an editor for the medical journal of my college (Xuzhou Medical College).

As a amateur clivia grower for about 20 years, I have been cheated many times in the past few years by some famous growers in China. I once spent 12 US dollars only to get a black been seed instead of a clivia seed (the grower told me that the seed was taken from a 160 mm wide clivia plant). Chinese clivia growers like to put ads on a horticutural magazine, however, they seldom provide detailed information on what they are going to sell. They just mark the seeds or seedlings as everage quality, mid-quality, high quality, and top quality without any descriptions and explainations.I wasted a lot of money on buying clivias through post in the past few years.

I have been thinking of doing small clivia business through the internet for a long time.Thanks to the fast development of the internet technology in China and around the world. Now I can communicate with clivia enthusiasts all over the would instantly and cheaply.

Actually, we are two people team for our small clivia business--Miss Wang (Wang Fang, her given name is Fang, familiy name is Wang). Miss Wang and I have many clivia friends who do clivia business. Seeds are collected from different sources-- mainly from AnShan, ChangChun, and ShenYang, which are the most famous cities for clivia growing in China. Without their help, we can not offer so many types of Chinese clivia seeds.
